Popular Casino Games on the Internet

Newcomers to online gambling often wonder about the best games, and the most popular games. So, around the time of signing up for a new online casino, I like to take a look around and list the top 5 games, and the most popular games.

1. Poker

Columns are all full of players. Checking. waiting. Being patient. It’s so easy to announce to the table you are standing at, that you enjoy a good poker game. Almost as easy as… “Just give me aFive-card stud game!”

2. Blackjack

Eventually, you are required to learn how to play. Cards are dealt. Bonuses. Stacks. protocols. It’s all a matter of getting familiar with the game before you engage. It is possible to get aces free; that puts you in a very strong position. Strong positions are expensive, so be sure you pay for them.

stars of blackjack: It is possible to turn the biggest of these stars by offering odds that are more favorable than your starting hand. And, the more hands you play, the more opportunities you have to improve those hands, giving you a better overall hand and a far better chance of being the first one on the table with a blackjack.

Aside from the general Strengths and Weaknesses, there are specific rules that are important to blackjack. A simple soft 17 (for those who may not be aware) is a great rule to follow. It allows the dealer to make a full house without aces. It also allows the player to limp in (not bet, but not fold either, until a point is accomplished) with a mixed hand. The first two cards are dealt face down, the last two face up. The first card that is dealt, the dealer, starts the clock. The dealer must hit to a soft17, and stand on 13 through 16. The Ace is a soft17.

The goal of the game is to give yourself a higher value of 17 or better. You can achieve this by (1) getting a card that is equal to or higher than the dealer’s card you can expect to be dealt; or (2) by getting a card that is a multiple of seven and NOT signaling the dealer’s hand. In addition, you can achieve the dealer’s hand by getting a card that is equal to or higher than the cards shown for the dealer.

Sounds simple enough. But, you will often find yourself in a game with a lot of distractions. This interfeit with your goal of trying to count the cards and end up letting the count fall below zero, thus making you lose. In addition, if you are losing, and someone make a comment to you like, “Good hand, hotshots,” or “Lot of money in the pot,” than it is probably time to throw you out of the casino.

counting cards: The object is to obtaining a positive count starting at around 10. If you start counting, you will know immediately if you are above or below the target. With the true count, negative and positive motions are equivalent to positive and negative. motions with a + are to +1; +2 to +2. – are to -1. And -3 to -3 are to -2. Each +1 is assign a value of one point. +2 is +1, +3 is +2. -4 and -3 are -1 and +4. -5 and -4 are -2 and +5. -6 and -5 are -3 and +6. -7 and -6 are -4 and +7. -8 and -5 are -5 and +8. At this juncture, you will add 1 point to the target count. Each additional +1 point increment is a point increment in the target count. The easiest way to remember the target is to divide the +1 to -1 into a minus sign (Dewavegas), and then multiply by 2. For example, if the true count is +5, then you add -1 to the end of the number (5.9 minus 1). The true count is then 5.

Dodging bullets: Sometimes a bullet (a.k.a. casino dealer) will not allow you to place a bet if the hit card is 9 or higher. Always place a bet on 9, and whatever the dealer’s card, you only want to place 9 bets. If the dealer has a 6 and a 9 the bets on all of your hands go directly to -10. With a 10 and above, place the bet directly to +10. This is an advanced play, and should not be attempted by the newbie. New players or those playing in larger or more populated casinos with more competition will want to increase their range of bet types and play styles.
